Penny

Are you up for providing a quiet older kitty a good home?  Penny is a 10 year old spayed female grey tabby DSH.  She is fairly

people friendly and is front declawed.  She is mellow, although, along with her older age, she has taken on the "no tolerance"

attitude with other cats and dogs. We think she deserves to live as an only pet and show her true colors for whomever is willing

to give her an second chance.  She is a beauty.

Be-Looh

9 month old male grey tabby DSH.  He lived with other cats but due to his owners moving he was not able to go.  He just arrived and is a bit frightened (as you can see by his picture) but he loves children and is a very gentle cat.  He has never lived with dogs and is a little scared of loud noises.

Bubbles

Here is Mr. Bubbles  He is a 5 year old  DLH grey tabby.  He likes to be an inside/outside cat.  He is so friendly and likes dogs and cats and any age kids.  He is such a joy to be around and meows when he is happy or when he wants something.  Such a beautiful boy!

Willie Nelson

9 year old male buff and white DSH. Poor little guy--his owner went into a nursing home so he came to AAHS.  He is a pretty mellow boy and is pretty chill about most things.  He doesn't mind other cats but isn't very keen on dogs.  He is not needy at all and pretty much takes care of himself.  He's ready to be "on the road again" to YOUR house!

Jack

7 year old male grey tabby DSH. He is just as sweet as can be.  He loves to have his chin scratched!  He is a quiet cat and seems pretty mellow.  He is front declawed and gets along with other cats but we are unsure of dogs as he has never been around them.  He would do best in a home with older children. 

Slinky

2 year old spayed female calico DSH.  She was found as a stray but has warmed up quickly.  She is always aware of her surroundings and what is going on.  She loves to love up on you and throw her head against anything she can.  We think she would prefer no dogs but seems to be alright with cats.            

Tiny

1 year old male grey tabby DSH.  He looks like he could be a Siamese mix. Poor little guy--his human passed away so he came here.  He has been an inside cat since birth and would like to continue to live indoors. He lived with a dog since he was a kitten and liked her (smaller to medium size).  He seems to like his alone time.  He will play with you but on his terms.  He likes to nap alot!! He seems friendly towards other cats and we are unsure of small children. 

Hoshi

4 years old spayed black with white DSH.  She likes things to be on her terms.  She can be very loveable but wants to decide when the luvin' starts and when it should end!  She is front declawed and would do best a quiet household.

Crizzy

1 year old spayed grey tabby with white DSH.  She is very sweet and her fur is very soft!  She likes kids and has been around dogs and doesn't seem to mind them either.  She is pretty quiet and doesn't require a lot of attention and just kind of does her own thing.  She does have a playful side but it hasn't shown much here due to nervousness.  She does like her tummy rubbed also!

Sammy

7 years old neutered male grey tabby DSH. He is a mellow cat and he enjoys sunbathing on the couch and watching his surroundings.  He lived with other dogs and cats and enjoys children of any age.  He is not vocal at all and is very low maintenance.  He just wants somewhere to sprawl out and enjoy life!

Casper

7 year old neutered male.  He is Buff in color with white paws and white chest.  He is gorgeous and weighs in at 20 lbs!  That is 20 lbs of pure happiness that someone can add to their family.  He is a pretty mellow cat and lived with other cats and dogs and also very young children.  He is a very low maintenance cat and just needs a family to love up on him!

Ranger

Male DSH. We aren't sure on his age yet until he gets vet checked (he's a stray.)  He is friendly as all get out.  He likes to roll over on his back so you can rub on his belly.  He isn't too fond of our other kitties but that may change with time.  He loves to be held and likes to play, but he likes his alone time as well. 

Daisy, Diamond, and Boots

8 wk old kittens!  So playful and curious.  Daisy is the all grey and she is quiet and timid but very affectionate.  Diamond is the runt and is all grey with a white diamond on her chest.  She is a motor mouth and will cry when she is wanting you to play with her.  She sticks pretty close to Daisy.  Then there is Boots.  He is all boy!  He likes to be dominant in everything he does.  He plays more by himself since he is a bit too rough for the girls but he doesn't mind one bit.  He is fairly quiet and will keep himself entertained all afternoon!

Toby

1 year old male black DSH.  He is a little tempermental.  He likes things to be on his terms.  He is learning to adjust to the other cats around here but we think he would rather not live with them, haha.  He seems to enjoy the younger kids that come in here and he does have a playful side but he just takes a little bit to warm up.  He is going to be a beautiful boy once he is all grown up!
