Annie Stenvig

President

I've always been a friend to animals. Joining the Board of Directors for the Humane Society is just another way I can help!

Kim Heupel

Vice President

I joined the humane society as I wanted to be able to assist and watch this organization grow. I am extremely passionate about animals and want to help as much as possible! Without the AAHS, Aberdeen would be missing a vital part of the community!

The best part about being involved in animal rescue is being there the day the animal goes to its fur-ever family and seeing how happy everyone involved is!

Volunteering with AAHS makes my heart happy. Happy heart, happy life. Board member since 2001.

I love volunteering in our community. I managed the shelter a lifetime ago, so joining the board seemed like a natural transition. I love watching people find their best friends with us!

I've owned two of the best dogs in the world, both adopted from the AAHS. Being on the board allows me to give just a sliver of that happiness back to the world.

I have always loved animals and wanted to help as many as I could. Being on the board of the Aberdeen Area Humane Society allows me to make a difference in the lives of not only the animals, but the families who will give them their "furever" homes.

I joined the board to give a voice to those who cannot speak. I love working with animals and helping others wherever I can.
